superheroes on the road

the level of cycling ability varied greatly among our group. we rode no more than 40 miles in a day, and usually closer to 15. the total distance covered between our destination communities on this ride could not have been more than 200 miles. there was a very hard stretch of riding on the way to the strawbale studio, in which we endured many rough dirt roads. here are some pictures of nicer stretches, to show you how we looked out there.

on our way to pontiac there was a long stretch of paved bicycle trail. the later part was unpaved, but still nice.
