once again i went through turmoil about whether to stay or go. the morning of the day i left i felt pretty sure i was going to stay for a few days at the farm where i had dinner the previous night. instead i ended up deciding it was important for me to get to the superhero ride for the training period and initiation before departure. so i left the home of my humanure composting hero, joseph jenkins, and went to see if i could hitch a ride towards michigan.
amazing! after only about a half hour at the entrance to interstate 80 near grove city i was picked up by a guy going all the way to Illinois. he was able to drop me off in toledo. thank you lord! i rode the rest of the way to my couchsurfing host's, feeling strong after some restful days. it was good to move after the long drive. the rain decided to take a break while i made my way to the apartment. i had a wonderful, relaxing stay with these folks. they have just recently returned from a trip called la aventura project. so many people traveling and seeking these days. they expressed some interest in learning to meditate and i encouraged them to look into vipassana.
