hoop dance

i've heard of hoop dancing before but have just this morning really discovered what it is. this is very exciting to me! i've experienced song and dance as powerful ways to connect with the creative, loving spirit of life. the hoop dance has particular significance.

food security in oregon

today i came across some information about community food organizations and activities in oregon. i am interested in meeting folks involved with this work as i travel down the coast. i'll also be trying to find and purchase the most responsibly produced food available to fuel me.



i won't be going through the willamette valley, but i found this video encouraging and right on. an example of some folks taking sane action.
how do we get people "to support the soil on the farm, and do what's best for it, because that's where their food comes from."?
